Conrad Anderson of Logical Personnel Solutions is taking part in the Ultra White Collar Boxing Event being held at Elland Road on Sunday 6th April 2014. By the time the event comes around Conrad will have undergone 8 weeks of intensive boxing training and will be matched up against an opponent of the same weight and ability (a feat in itself).

Logical PS have opened an office in Sheffield in a move to further expand the business. The offices have been selected in an attempt to give us a base closer to our clients in South Yorkshire and to facilitate our manpower provision across the area, allowing Logical Personnel Solutions to more effectively deal with client sites across the UK. The offices are very close to a number of projects that are being undertaken on sites in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire and along the on the Motorways in the area.
Jamie Mclean, Operations Manager, who is responsible for Managing the office commented “ Sheffield is a key area for us as we have a lot of Clients and sites in the area and this will help provide a better service. Our branch network will be expanding in the near future and we have already targeted two further areas in the UK that we would like to have a base”.
The office, which is close to the M1 and M18 motorways links, a large number of business involved in the sectors which Logical PS supply such as manufacturing, construction, Logistics and Energy are in an ideal location for us to grow our client base and offer a more complete service to clients and candidates alike.
Following an agreement between the Government and EDF, Hinkley ‘C’ will be the first nuclear power plant to be built in the UK in almost two decades. Whilst the actual start date of the building phase at Hinkley Point C in Somerset is yet to be confirmed it is estimated that they will require approximately 25,000 workers during the construction of the plant.

- Have a current CCNSG Card (Safety Passport)
- Triple Bar qualification
- Have undertaken the EDF induction for Hinkley
- Passed a Drug and Alcohol test
(as the this project is still in the planning stage, the site requirements may change)
Logical Personnel Solutions, due to successfully providing manpower to a number of projects on nuclear power stations, including Hinkley, and a working relationship with a number of contractors, cover all of the requirements for candidates to secure work on this project.

Hannah Woods, Labour Manager from Logical Personnel Solutions met with a number of jobseekers at Lancaster Jobcentre Plus to advise on career prospects within the Nuclear Industry, especially at the nearby Heysham Power Station. Hannah who Manages a number of labour projects for Logical Personnel Solutions has excellent experience introducing NEET’s, those Not in Education, Employment or Training into the workplace.
After a successful project in Dungeness, utilising a similar workforce, Logical Personnel Solutions are looking to recreate their recruitment drive offering advice, training and support to candidates in the lead up to the start of the project. Hannah Commented “when working on major outages we always looks to utilise local labour as much as possible, our event at Lancaster jobcentre was extremely valuable in meeting local workers with transferable skill sets for working within the energy industry”

Logical Personnel Solutions have received further endorsement that they are a quality business. Following a successful recertification after an audit conducted by ACS Registrars, a UKAS accreddited auditor Logical Personnel Solutions were please to have received no non-conformance. The company has seen exponential growth including; office moves to accommodate expansion in both Regional offices, a new Recruitment Focussed CRM, system and a new IT system to support the business.
Logical’s growth is complimented with a number of key hires targetting businesses in the key sectors they service.
Logical Personnel Solutions have managed to raise £500 for Movember, who support prostate and testicular cancer initiatives. This year sees a MOmentous fundraising effort raising £71,570,362 to date, for more information click here: Movember
Whilst some could have made MO of an effort, Guy Smith has been well supported for his tash disaster raising £202, followed by Ben Lerner, Logical’s MD. We had some MOlatteral damage with Jamie Mclean and Conrad Anderson failing to finish with the facial fuzz and Gareth Pugh and Ben Willis beating their colleague Ryan O’Neill by a whisker.
