An international leader in engineering & construction within the Energy sector seeks a Engineering Co-ordinator responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of collective engineering solutions across a multi-disciplinary transmission network engineering deptartment. You will be responsible for communicating with and facilitating works between department Managers and engineering staff within overhead line & cable, plant, control & protection and civil/structural engineering departments for a portfolio of projects. This role will require you to programme works and maintain an overview to be able to prioritise/escalate works to meet client requirements and to provide an intial point of contact for engineering queries raised by internal or external parties where works will vary from engineering feasibility to detailed design.
Ideally you will be a degree educated chartered engineer with proven significant experience coordinating collective engineering solutions in a multi-disciplinary environment within the Transmission Network sector and so will have expert knowledge in design for transmission networks at voltages from 132kV to 400kV. You will also have the ability to implement, apply and promote CDM and Helath & Safety best practice in a desogn environment.
