Deliver a portfolio of Transmission Networks Engineering and construction projects or work packages through the pre-delivery stage prior to construction. Organise and coordinate site investigations, environmental impact assessments, consents (planning, wayleaves & environmental, etc), and coordinating basic Engineering Design. Evaluating projects to identify long lead items of plant and organising/coordinating procurement.Providing cost estimates to clients for financial authorisation and delivering project development (pre-delivery) works to safety, quality and environmental standards.
Suitable applicants will have the following minimum:
• Experience in managing a portfolio of engineering & construction projects or work packages at either the development, engineering or construction stage.
• HND in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of the development stages of projects eg EIA’s, planning consents & wayleaves.
• Financial control/forecasting.
• Quality & environmental ISO systems
• Understanding of regulatory issues impacting REC’s andtransmission networks.
