We are seeking a project manager to deliver major transmission infrastructure projects from initiation through pre construction, site mobilisation, construction and handover to client in a work package delivery model. You will be responsible for all project specific safety and providing necessary guidance to effectively integrate all packages on site to clients’ satisfaction and milestone requirements with an approx portfolio of £50- £70m.

Suitable applicants will have the following:
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience managing major construction projects including transmission projects
• Charted Engineer or working towards this
• Extensive experience of managing major projects in a portfolio environment
• Skills in use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel Powerpoint, Document management and Programme management packages
• Knowledge of transmission Operator, REC or DNO health and safety requirements and technical compliance
• A broad understanding of IEC and the market the business operates in CDM
• IOSH Managing Safety (or similar)
• Contract Management (FIDIC, NEC etc)
